NEW DUAL SUBWOOFER DELIVERS BIG BOTTOM BASS WITH STUNNING illumiNITE ACCENTS

New Sub and Enclosure Stresses Performance, Styling and Value

Las Vegas, NV, January 3, 2006 Dual Electronics, a leader in innovative high performance/high value for car and home, has introduced a new mobile subwoofer system that delivers remarkable bass performance in a sleek, eye-catching package.

The new XOBP12D (SRP: $249.99) is a dual-12-inch subwoofer system that will catch attention from consumers who hear or just see it. The system\'s built-in illumiNITE feature bathes the system in a cool blue light, which is reflected by an elegant mirrored, diamond-plated finish, and clearly visible through the enclosure\'s Plexi viewing window. An attractive carpeted enclosure beautifully finishes the cosmetics.

“Today´s mobile audio enthusiasts demand rock-solid bass,” said Robb Groner, Director of Product Development, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics. “Our new subwoofer system delivers the performance they\'re looking for, together with must-have styling and a very attractive price point.”

The XOBP12D is a looker, but its beauty is more than skin deep. The ported, dual 12-inch bandpass system is capable of handling 600 watts of continuous bass energy, and able to absorb a whopping 1,100 watts of peak power. Low-Q optimization means less unwanted acoustic resonance, and integration into any mobile system is simplified by the system\'s built-in crossover design.

With a sensitivity of 89 dB at 4 ohms, the XOBP12D mates with a wide range of mobile electronics, and with a frequency response of 25 to 200 Hz, is able to reproduce all bass frequencies with ease. At 14.4 inches of height and depth, and 30 inches wide, the system fits in a wide range of vehicles.
