DUALS NEW MOBILE THEATER ENTRIES HIGHLIGHTED BY FEATURE-RICH DVD LINEUP

New Models Stress Styling, Functionality and Selection

Las Vegas, NV, January 3, 2006 Dual Electronics, a leader in innovative high performance/high value electronics for car and home, introduces four new mobile theater systems for 2006. The new models comprise a comprehensive selection of DVD-based entertainment options for nearly any vehicle on the road.

Our cars are an extension of our homes, said Robb Groner, Director of Product Development, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics. Today\'s consumers want mobile entertainment systems that are as sophisticated as their home systems, and Dual is ready with the right products at the right prices.\"

The first arrival in Dual\'s 2006 DVD based mobile theater lineup is the 2.0 DIN XDVD8265 (SRP: $1399.99) Featuring a bright, motorized 6.5-inch LCD display in widescreen 16x9 aspect ratio, the unit\'s innovative touch screen interface allows users to easily operate key video and audio features.

Compatible with a wide range of entertainment formats -- including DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 and WMA discs -- the XDVD8265 also allows for a wide range of connectivity options, thanks to the inclusion of two audio/video inputs and a rear camera input. The unit\'s audio connectivity includes 5.1 analog outputs and an optical digital audio port. The audio section is powered by an impressive 240 watts of system power into four channels.

Scheduled to ship in Q2, Dual\'s new flagship DVD receiver is the XDVD8180 (SRP: $999.99), featuring a generously-sized 7-inch motorized TFT LCD display in widescreen format. The unit is compatible with DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 and WMA media, and is easily integrated even within the most sophisticated mobile entertainment systems, thanks to two sets of preamp outputs, plus a variable subwoofer output, and two sets of audio/video inputs.

Like the XDVD8265, the unit comes equipped with Dual\'s iPlug interface cable for easy connectivity to any portable digital or analog media player with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The audio is powered by 240 watts of MOSFET-clean amplification, and users get exceptional flexibility with their radio broadcast programming, through 30 station presets with preset scan, auto station store, one-touch station memory and a choice of auto-seek or manual tuning.

Dual\'s innovative mobile theater lineup for 2006 continues with the value-driven XDVD8130 (SRP: $599.99), featuring a two-step motorized, integrated 2.5-inch color TFT LCD display. Compatible with DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW and MP3-encoded discs, this unit offers outstanding bang for the buck, including an integrated DVD deck, remote control operation, iPlug, and extensive connectivity options, including three sets of preamp outputs, two audio-video inputs, a rear camera input, composite video output, and control of the XNAV9525 navigation module (sold separately).

Dual\'s XDVD8265 will begin shipping in Q1 while the XDVD8180 will arrive in Q2 and the XDVD8130 will ship in Q2. All three models will feature Dual\'s appealing combination of stylish industrial design, innovative video and audio technologies, and high performance-to-price ratio.
