DUAL INTRODUCES BLUETOOTH MODULE
FOR SAFE AND EASY HANDS-FREE COMMUNICATION
-- Add-on Accessory for Select Dual Head Units
Also Allows Streaming Audio --
Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2007 – Dual Electronics, a brand synonymous with feature-rich/high-value electronics for both the car and home, enters the Bluetooth accessory market with the introduction of a hands-free module that makes operating a cell phone while behind the wheel easier and safer.
“Bluetooth hands-free capability is in huge demand among dealers and consumers,” notes Robb Groner, Director of Product Development, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics. “Like all of our mobile products, Dual’s entry into the category provides an effective, feature-filled and price-sensitive solution.”
The Dual BTM60 (SRP: $99) works with most Bluetooth cell phones to allow drivers to communicate without taking their hands off the wheel. The BTM60 automatically answers, cancels and ends calls. Plus, it offers voice dialing (if supported by the mobile device), caller ID, an auto find/reconnect feature and microphone mute. Powerful onboard DSP (digital signal processing) provides noise reduction and echo-cancellation for crystal-clear conversations even in a noisy environment. A condenser mike is built into the low-profile BTM60, which also has a visor clip. And, because it is A2DP compliant, the BTM60 can even wirelessly stream audio from a mobile device with a built-in digital music player.
The BTM60 is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled cell phones and works with Dual’s XDM6400, XDMA6700, XDMA6855 and XDMA7715 head units.
