-- Three CD-based Head Units Offer MP3, iPod, Bluetooth Compatibility --

Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2007 – Dual Electronics, a brand synonymous with feature-rich/high-value mobile electronics, strengthens its in-dash receiver line-up with the addition of three models that are iPod and Bluetooth-ready, while a fourth model offers an HD tuner option as well as a disc-free approach, opting instead for a front-panel SD Card slot, USB port and inputs for an MP3 player, allowing end-users to plug in almost any digital-audio source.

“Today’s mobile music-lovers want to play it their way—whether that means plugging in their iPods, playing MP3-encoded CDs or bringing their multimedia-capable Bluetooth phones along for the ride,” notes Robb Groner, Vice President of Product Development, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics. “With Dual’s innovative new in-dash CD head units, they get to have it all without breaking the bank.”

The Dual XMC100 (SRP: $199) AM/FM multimedia receiver is a groundbreaking product that is sure turn heads as much for its striking appearance as for its revolutionary disc-less design. The center section features a large black-and-white dot-matrix LCD panel that is flanked by multifunction controls on either side. Situated below the display are three docks for downloading digital media to the player: a 3.5-inch jack, an SD Card slot and a USB port. No matter what music source is employed, end-users will enjoy high performance audio, thanks to the internal 240-watt (60x4) MOSFET amplifier as well as source audio memory and five selectable preset EQ curves.

For even more entertainment options, separate HD Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio tuners can be added to the XMC100. And, with the addition of Dual’s new BTM60 Bluetooth module, audio can be wirelessly streamed from compatible multimedia cell phones, while at the same time allowing drivers to answer and place calls without taking their hands off the wheel.

In-Dash CD/Media Players with Bluetooth and iPod Capability

Dual’s new CD-based in-dash receivers also offer impressive digital music versatility. The optional IPC2M iPod cable mates most iPods (except the Shuffle) to all three of the new receivers, allowing all of the information on the iPod screen -- such as Playlists, Artist, Album and Song – to be accessed on a receiver’s LCD front panel. All three of the new CD/media players also work with Dual’s new BTM60 Bluetooth module.

The top-of-the-line XDMA7715 (SRP: $249), features a two-step motorized detachable faceplate, while the XDMA6855 (SRP: $199) and XDMA6700 (SRP: $179) are lower-priced units with similar flexibility and features. All three DIN-size radios handle MP3 and WMA-encoded discs and display ID3v1 and WMA tags. All three models pump out 200 watts total (50 x 4) from a built-in amplifier and sport multiple preamp outputs.
