NEW DUAL SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFERS DELIVER
STUNNING SOUND AND SPECTACULAR STYLING
-- Three-way Speakers and New Subs Designed With Music Fans in Mind --
Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2007 – Dual Electronics, a brand synonymous with feature-rich/high-value mobile audio products, strengthens its mobile speaker line-up with the introduction of a trio of three-way speakers, a 12-inch dual voice coil subwoofer, three bandpass subwoofer systems and a line of single- and dual-driver subwoofer boxes. With these solid additions to its speaker offerings, Dual now gives mobile-audio enthusiasts the opportunity to outfit their vehicles with great sounding -- and great looking -- speakers that reproduce every note of the musical spectrum, at a price that sounds just as sweet.
“With our latest speaker introductions,” said Tony Padilla, Product Manager, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics, “we offer consumers complete mobile-audio speaker solutions, whether they only want to replace their factory speakers, drop in a high-performance subwoofer system or create their own version using a high-end ‘raw’ subwoofer.”
DMC Speakers featuring illumiNITE™
Duals’ new line of three-way mobile audio speakers, dubbed DMC, is available in 5.25-, 6.5- and 6x9-inch sizes (SRP: DMC553 $59.99, DMC653 $69.99 and DCM693 $99.99, respectively) Each model features brushed metalized silver polypropylene cones that perfectly complement the speaker’s RGB illumiNITETM illumination, adding multi-color user-selectable speaker illumination to the cutting edge design. Up to 17 cone-color combinations can be selected with an optional control box; seven without the control box. The speakers come with their own grilles, but are flexible enough to easily slip behind stock grilles when replacing factory speakers.
The Dual FV12DVC 12-inch subwoofer is a perfect companion to the DMC speakers. With its machined aluminum die-cast basket, chrome t-plate and push terminals and treated paper cone topped with a polypropylene dust cap that sports an embossed Dual logo, the FV12DVC looks as good as it sounds. It handles massive 1,000-watt peaks (500 watts RMS) and has a 92-db sensitivity rating.
Dual’s two new bandpass subwoofer systems, the XOBP15D (SRP: $449.99) and the BP1204 (SRP: $249.99), provide an easy and stylish way to add bass to any ride. Each system features dual subwoofers ensconced in a carpeted enclosure that has Plexiglas windows for a view of the subs and an interior that is mirrored and diamond-plated. To make sure they are seen as well as heard, both systems sport Dual’s RGB illumiNITE™ Lighting.
The XOBP15D’s two 15-inch subwoofers handle 1,200-watt peaks or 700 watts RMS, while the BP1204’s dual 12-inch woofers handle 1,100-watt peaks and 600 watts RMS.
For a low-key but equally eye-pleasing approach to in-car bass, Dual’s new DUB series of unloaded subwoofer box enclosures offer tremendous versatility at an unbeatable price. Available in either single- or dual-subwoofer versions, for 10” or 12”drivers, the DUB Series boxes boast a cool aluminum front-baffle overlay and rock-solid construction, including triple-sealed construction and internally braced rear and side panels. The DUB Series enclosures can be converted to work either in a sealed or ported configuration. Each DUB subwoofer enclosure comes with mounting screws, a port plug for converting it to sealed applications and a detailed owner’s manual that includes tuning-frequency and port-length instructions. The DUB Series are available in four versions: the DUB10S with a single 10-inch subwoofer (SRP $109.99), the DUB10D with two 10s (SRP: $139.99), the DUB12S single 12 (SRP: $139.99) and the DUB12D dual 12-inch version (SRP: $179.99).
