DUAL ELECTRONICS SHOWCASES ITS POPULAR
UNIVERSAL BLUETOOTH GPS RECEIVER - THE XGPS150

-- DUALs XGPS150 Wirelessly Adds GPS to iPad, iPod touch, iPhone and other Bluetooth-enabled Smart Phones, Tablets and Laptops, Allowing Them to Do More --

New York, NY. (June 21, 2011) - Dual Electronics Corporation is showcasing its Universal Bluetooth GPS Receiver at the CEA Line Show in New York City from June 22-23. The XGPS150 wirelessly adds GPS to iPad, iPod touch, iPhone and other Bluetooth-enabled smart phones, tablets and laptops, allowing these devices to be used with apps that require GPS information. This includes apps for car and marine navigation, aviation, golfing, geocaching, hiking, GPS tracking, running and other fitness apps. The XGPS150 measures only 2\" square, is very light, and comes with a non-slip pad for use in the car as well as a two-piece adjustable armband. The XGPS150 is available for $99.99.

\"Users of the Apple Wi-Fi only iPad, iPad 2 and iPod touch devices definitely get the most benefit out of the XGPS150,\" said Greg Lukins, VP Business Development, Dual Electronics Corp. \"These devices don\'t have built-in GPS and by pairing them with the XGPS150, users can take advantage of hundreds of apps that require GPS information, including the most popular navigation apps for drivers, boaters and pilots,\" added Lukins.

Users of the iPhone, iPad/iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, and other smart phones will benefit from greater GPS accuracy and longer battery life for their devices, since the XGPS150 uses its internal, rechargeable battery that lasts for 8.5 hours of continuous use.

The XGPS150 has a long, 33-foot (10m) Bluetooth signal range, which allows it to be positioned in a optimal location with the best view of the sky, while the device it connects to can be within user\'s reach. Another benefit of the wireless connectivity is the fact that it does not block the 30-pin connector on the Apple devices, so they can be charged when in use with the XGPS150.

The XGPS150 is very simple to use. The Bluetooth auto-discovery feature makes it easy to pair the XGPS150 with other devices, which takes less than a minute. The product comes with a non-slip pad, which holds the XGPS150 securely on a car\'s dashboard, boat console or cockpit glare shield. An adjustable armband is also included for outdoors and fitness applications. The XGPS150 also comes with a mini USB to USB cable and 12V cigarette lighter adapter.

The XGPS150 is compatible with all iPad, iPod touch and iPhone devices with OS3.1 or above and with Android, Windows and Blackberry smart phones, tablets and laptops which support Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Profile). For more product information, visit www.xgps150.dualav.com.
