Las Vegas, NV (January 5, 2015)- Dual Electronics Corporation announced today the expansion of Dual-branded multimedia headunits, by adding 7 new models, including Dual\'s first headunit with 2-Way DualMirror technology. Other features found in the new multimedia headunits include built-in Bluetooth with ID3 Tag and Phonebook, DualMirror (one-way), 6-band graphic EQ, built-in programmable Steering Wheel Control (SWC) interface, and RGB custom colors. Six of the new multimedia models are shipping in January, and the remaining one in May 2015. Other new in-car products include 2 Digital Amplifiers and a Wireless Smart EQ Processor for Smartphones, which are also shipping in January 2015. All new models will be on display during the 2015 International CES in Booth 2318 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

\"This year\'s expansion in our multimedia headunit category continues to focus on smartphone integration and ease of use,\" said Jim Braun, President and CEO, Dual Electronics Corp. \"Cars continue to be a hub for entertainment and we strive to provide our customers with the most convenient and functional solutions with emphasis on safety,\" added Braun.

The top of the line DV695MB (MSRP $399) double DIN multimedia model features 2-Way DualMirror technology for Android devices connected via HDMI. When connected, the Android smartphones screen is mirrored onto the receivers screen, and the user can navigate and control the connected smartphone directly from the receiver\'s touchscreen. connect a smartphone to the headunit. The DualCast dongle plugs into the HDMI and USB inputs on the back of the receiver and communicates with any smartphone using WiFi.
Both the 2-Way and 1-Way DualMirror technologies utilize a digital-to-digital HDMI converting circuit, which preserves the quality and integrity of the digital video signal coming into the headunit from a smartphone, and results in the highest possible quality picture reproduction on the receiver\'s screen.

Five of the seven new multimedia units feature built-in Bluetooth technology with ID3 Tag, hands-free calling, audio streaming and phonebook profiles. These models include: the DV695MB (MSRP $399), DV625BH (MSRP $269), DV725BH (MSRP $279), DV615B (MSRP $249), and DV715B (MSRP $259).
All new multimedia models boast brand new, intuitive and attractive GUIs, RGB custom colors, RDS tuner, front panel USB, SD Card (single DIN only), and aux inputs, built-in programmable Steering Wheel Control interface, 3 pairs of 4V RMS preamp outputs (F/R/S), 6-band graphic EQ and variable subwoofer control.

Digital Amplifiers:
Following up on its 14-model expansion of amplifiers in 2014, Dual is adding 2 new digital amps: the DA1504D 4-channel digital amplifier with 3000 Watts peak power (MSRP $269), and the DA1000D digital mono amplifier with 3000 Watts peak power (MSRP $269). Both amplifiers feature advanced SMD (surface mount device) circuitry for better current flow and reduced RF and EMI interference, high-level inputs with auto turn-on, low-level inputs, and variable low- and high-pass crossovers. The mono amp also features variable bass boost and subsonic filter, and includes a remote bass control. Both amplifiers are shipping in January 2015.

Wireless Smart EQ Processor for Smartphones:
The DSEQ505BT Smart EQ Processor (MSRP $189) controls balance, fader, and a 7-band EQ with presets from a Bluetooth-connected Android or Apple smartphone or tablet (app required, free download). The processor connects to up to 3 amplifiers and the receiver via RCA inputs/outputs, and features a signal sensing technology for auto amp remote turn-on. The Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) feature allows the user to stream music from a smartphone directly to the Smart EQ. The processor is great for tailgating or sound competitions.
