Products feature built-in Bluetooth, Direct USB Control for iPod/iPhone, Motion Control, Pandora Connectivity and NOAA Weather Band Tuner

Las Vegas, NV (January 5, 2015) Dual Electronics Corporation announced today the expansion of its marine audio products to include: 3 digital media receivers, 2 CD receivers, 3 receivers and speakers combos, and Duals first Bluetooth amplifiers (2), and a wireless Smart EQ processor for smartphones. All products are engineered and built to withstand harsh marine environments. The new introductions are on display in booth 2318 in North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our marine line of audio products has been designed for performance, long-term protection from the elements, and seamless integration with smartphones, said Jim Braun, President and CEO, Dual Electronics Corp. Features such as Bluetooth, USB control for iPod/iPhone, Motion Control and Pandora connectivity, provide the user with many options for enhancing their boating experience.

Digital Media Receivers and Combo Packs:
Top of the line digital media receivers: the AM705BT (white, MSRP $299) and BMT805BT (black, MSRP $299) each feature a built-in 600Watts digital amplifier for powerful and rich audio reproduction. Smartphone integration is seamless via Bluetooth (hands-free calling, audio streaming with ID3 tag, and player control), and via USB input, which provides direct control for iPod and iPhone devices. The receivers also work with the Pandora app on an iPhone connected via USB. Each receiver features a 7-channel NOAA weather band tuner, and a large, 3 full color LCD. The MXD135BT digital media receiver (MSRP $99) also features built-in Bluetooth, RGB custom colors, front panel USB and aux inputs, and an extra wide 3.7 LCD. This receiver is also available in a combo pack with a pair of 6.5 speakers (model MCP135BT, MSRP $119).

CD Receivers and Combo Packs:
The top of the line CD receivers: the AM615BT (MSRP $199) and AM425BT (MSRP $124) each offer direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices, and work with the Pandora app on an iPhone connected via USB. The built-in Bluetooth allows for hands-free calling, audio streaming and player control of a connected smartphone or a tablet. The AM425BT receiver also features Motion Control, allowing the user to use simple hand gestures to control the most common functions such as play/pause, volume up/down, and track forward/backward. The AM615BT model boasts a large, 3 full color LCD, while the AM425BT receiver features an extra wide 3.7 LCD. The AM615BT model comes with the MRF40 RF remote control that allows the user to control the receiver from anywhere on or near the boat up to 30 feet away. The remote is waterproof and floats. Both receivers are also available in combo packs with a pair of 6.5 speakers: AMCP615BT (MSRP $249) and AMCP425BT (MSRP $139).

Built for marine environment:
All receivers include removable silicone covers to protect front panel inputs from water splashes and debris, while the faceplate and other exposed elements are injection-molded using high-temperature UV-resistant resins to prevent weathering and breakdown from the sun. The chassis is wrapped in a tough, dirt and moisture-resistant layer of PET (polyethylene) while Electrophoretically Deposited Paint (EDP) is applied to the chassis offering additional protection against corrosion. To protect the internal components, a transparent coating is applied to all circuit boards surfaces to guard against dust, condensation and corrosion all to ensure maximum durability in marine environments.

Amplifiers:
Two out of the four amplifiers, the white DMA4100BT (MSRP $219) and the black BMA1205BT (MSRP $219), feature built-in Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming, allowing the user to stream audio from a Bluetooth connected smartphone or tablet directly to the amp, bypassing the need to install a receiver. This solution is ideal for any boat, as well as ATVs and motorcycles.
Two other amplifiers, the white DMA3100 (MSRP $174), and the black BMA2105 (MSRP $174), offer the same features without the Bluetooth connectivity. Each amplifier has 4 channels, offers 1200Watts peak power, and is IP66 waterproof. Measuring only 1.57 x 3 x 7.8, these compact amps are ideal for tight space installations. All four amps will ship in Q2 of 2015.

Wireless Smart EQ Processor for Smartphones:
First time in the marine lineup, the Wireless Smart EQ Processor controls balance, fader, and a 7-band EQ with presets from a Bluetooth-connected Android or Apple smartphone or tablet (app required, free download). The processor connects to up to 3 amplifiers and the receiver via RCA inputs/outputs, and features a signal sensing technology for auto amp remote turn-on. The Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) feature allows the user to stream music from a smartphone directly to the Smart EQ, without the need for a receiver. The Smart EQ is available in white (MEQ15BT) and in black (BEQ25BT), MSRP $199.
