DUAL EXPANDS NAVIGATION LINE WITH 'GO-ANYWHERE, KNOW-EVERYWHERE' GPS UNITS
Portable Products Highlight New Nav Introductions
Las Vegas, NV, January 3, 2006 – Dual Electronics, a leader in innovative high performance/high value electronics for car and home, is expanding its lineup of stylish, feature-rich GPS navigation products. The new models will bring all the potential of portable navigation to a broad consumer base through in-demand functionalities and "everyman" price points.

Dual's new GPS lineup is highlighted by the exciting new XNAV3550 (SRP: $799), a portable model that's as comfortable on a hike in the woods as it is on a family car outing. The sleek, stylish unit features a bright 3.5” TFT LCD touch screen display and a pre-loaded seamless map of the entire U.S. with nearly 2,000,000 points of interest.
The unit is easily upgradeable with additional maps and information through an included 1 GB SD memory card that can also be used to store MP3 files. An included on-glass suction mount allows the XNAV3550 to be moved from one vehicle to another.
The XNAV4300 (SRP: $849.99) is designed for portable GPS applications, and features a clear 4.3 inch touch screen LCD display, pre-loaded seamless map of the entire US, plus search and guidance functions. Compact and extremely portable, the unit can also be glass-mounted through a sliding suction-mount feature. The XNAV4300 features a built-in Lithium rechargeable battery and an included DC charger. In addition to its comprehensive search and viewing options, and turn-by-turn guidance with voice and visual indicators, the unit also features a built-in speaker and MP3 playback capability.
Dual’s XNAV3550 and XNAV4300 will ship in the second quarter.
