DUAL’S NEXT-GEN NAV SYSTEM
OFFERS LARGER SCREEN, MORE FEATURES

-- Portable GPS Navigation and Multimedia Playback
For the Ultimate Road Tool --

Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2007 – Dual Electronics, the market leader in feature-rich/high-value mobile electronics, today introduced its next-generation GPS navigation system, which combines the convenience of portability and the value-added feature of multimedia playback at an economical price point.

“The portable navigation category is experiencing dramatic growth,” said Robb Groner, Vice President of Product Development, Namsung America, Inc., parent company of Dual Electronics. “Our newest model offers a larger screen and more features at the type of practical price consumers expect from Dual."

The new XNAV4310 (SRP: $549) boasts a large 4.3-inch wide screen TFT LCD touch screen that is used to search for destinations by address, intersection, city or zip code via a supplied 1GB SD memory card that is preloaded with a map of the continental US. In addition, the mapping software on the SD card contains approximately 2 million points of interests (gas stations, ATMs, hotels, etc.), while a companion DVD-ROM features a database for Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

Once a destination is selected using an intuitive graphic interface, turn-by-turn directions are displayed on the screen and voice prompts ensure that users never miss a turn. Three- and two-dimensional map views, plus and day & night modes, along with nine selectable zoom levels, give users a crystal-clear view of where they are and where they are going.

The XNAV4310 features a built-in multimedia player for enjoying mp3 audio and AVI audio/video files. Also included is a windshield suction mount, a soft carry case and a 12VDC adaptor.
